The exhibition is thought of as an invitation to escape from our confined lives, on the lookout for a long-coveted freedom. Faustine Badrichani's universe is sunny, dazzling, graphic and sensual. There is the light, hard as a stone, which enhances the colors, chisels shapes and contrasts. There is the warmth on these still pale bodies, standing out from the hot, chalky rock. There is this blue as a common thread : a signature blue, in which we want to dive. Bathed in sunshine, the women of Faustine Badrichani make us a promise: that of capturing the instants of these carefree moments typical of holidays. Women who escape the gaze, who for a summer time become anonymous and melt into the pleasure of the moment.
